3-year-old girl drowns, four injured in Kashmir

Srinagar May 27: A three-year-old girl was drowned and four people were injured in a road accident in the Kashmir Valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said Rutaba, daughter of Nisar Ahmad, was drowned in Nallah Heeber at Panzgam in the frontier district of Kupwara.

However, before she could be rescued she died. Later, her body was fished out at a distance.

In another incident, four passengers were injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling turned turtle at Waserkhatoo Kralpora, Kupwara. The injured were hospitalised, they added.
