Vodaphone launches emergency scheme

Mumbai, May 26: Cellular service provider Vodaphone Essar today launched 'Chhota Credit' for its prepaid customers, who have used the network for over three months.

Under the scheme, subscribers can get a credit amount of Rs 10 by sending--CREDIT--as an SMS to toll free number 144. This credit will have validity of seven days and will be adjusted in the customer's next recharge, a release said. A service charge of Re 1 transaction will be applicable, the release added.
