Ethnic unrest in Rajasthan for day 3

Rajasthan, May 26, 2008 : Ethnic unrest remained unabated in Rajasthan for the third day as death toll mounted to 35 on May 25.Thousands of agitating Gujjar members continued their blockade, disrupting rail and road traffic across the region.

The community has been demanding for grant of special tribal status to facilitate better education and job opportunities to them.
