Rupee weakens further at 42.75/76 against USD

Mumbai, May 26: The Rupee today weakened further by about five paise to 42.75/76 against US Dollar from its previous close of 42.70/71 per dollar following the negative sentiments in Indian equity market.

The local unit depreciated futher on month-end dollar buying by oil refiners and weak inflows in local stocks as investors concerned over slow growth and rising inflation, dealers said.
