President Patil to inaugurate Institute of Kashmir Studies

Srinagar, May 26 : President Pratibha Patil will inaugurate the Institute of Kashmir Studies here today.

On Sunday, President Patil's visit to Bhaderwah in Jammu region was called off due to inclement weather. She was to inaugurate Jammu University's Bhaderwah campus.

Bhaderwah is also known as the "Kerala of Jammu and Kashmir" because of the highest literacy in the state.

From Jammu, the President will travel to Himachal Pradesh on a state visit to participate in official functions.

President Patil will return to New Delhi on June 1.
