Man stabs wife in Satna

Satna, MP, May 26: A man stabbed his wife before injuring himself with a knife at this district, police said today.

Birbal Kushwah, who was already married but remarried Aarti, was forcing her to go to Surat district in Gujarat. The seriously injured couple was rushed to the government hospital yesterday. The condition of both was stated out of danger.

Aarti's mother Rajkumari alleged that the accused intended to sell Aarti in Surat and attacked her when she protested.
