Husband kills wife for not conceiving baby boy

Jammu, May 26: Police have arrested a man who had allegedly killed his wife for not conceving a male child, at a village of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said today.

The accused, identifed as Mohammad Panjeer, had beaten his wife Zahida to death using an iron rod and buried the body, the sources added.

A month later, acting on the information given by the locals, the police arrested Panjeer, father of three girls.
