Two killed as Tata Safari rams into stationary truck
Jamnagar, May 25 (UNI) Two persons were killed and two others injured when their vehicle rammed into a stationary truck on Bhatia-Dwarika highway, approximately 100 km, from here.
According to police, a Tata Safari was going to Dwarika from Gandhidham last night. Driver of the vehicle, who could not spot a stationary truck on Dwarika highway near Bhatia village, rammed into it. The accident was so severe that two persons were killed on the spot, while two others were injured.
The dead were identified as Charan Singh and Gurucharan Singh.
The injured have been undergoing treatment at Bhatia hospital.
A case has been registered against the Safari driver, Mohansingh Saradar, who himself lodged the complaint about the accident, police added.
