Two injured in strong winds in Kashmir
Srinagar May 24: Two people were injured and two houses damaged in strong winds, hailstorm and rains in the Kashmir valley last evening, official sources said.
They said a residential tin shed of Din Mohammad Gojri and Noor Hassan residents of Gawalta Uri, Baramulla, was damaged due to strong winds and hailstorm.
Gojri and Hassan were injured and later hospitalised, they said.
They said due to strong winds the roof of Mohammad Latief's house at Kangan was blown away. However, no one was injured.
Reports of damage caused to fruit and other crops by hailstorm and strong winds were also received from Baramulla, Kupwara and south Kashmir.
