RJD demands CBI probe into wealth of Bihar BJP president
Patna, May 23(UNI) The RJD today accused Bihar BJP president Radhamohan Singh of amassing huge wealth by exploiting the poor and demanded CBI probe into the property accumulated by him.
RJD national general secretary cum spokesperson Shyam Rajak told newspersons here that Mr Singh had used his influence during the regime of NDA government, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in the state to acquire the movable and immovable wealth by exploiting the poor section of the society.
He alleged that Mr Singh had forcibly grabbed the lands of the poor and backwards and constructed posh houses in Delhi, Muzaffarpur and Motihari. Besides, Mr Singh also became the owner of a petrol pump He further alleged that Mr Singh was exerting pressure upon a few people living under Pipra police station of East Champaran district for transferring their land in his name.
Mr Rajak said the victims had made a complaint in this regard in the CMs janata darbar on July 13 last year adding that Mr Singh, however, finally succeeded in his mission.
