Geojit Financial accepts BNP Paribas' Rs 60cr offer
New Delhi, May 23 (UNI) Geojit Financial Services today said it has accepted BNP Paribas' offer to invest Rs 60 crore into its subsidiary Geojit Technologies (GTPL), by way of subscription to 35 per cent equity share capital of GTPL.
In addition, the board has approved BNP Paribas' offer for compensation of Rs 40 crore to Geojit Commodities (GCL) or the company, subject to applicable regulatory approvals, a company statement said.
The aforesaid decision was taken by the board of directors of the company today after considering the proposals received from BNP Paribas aimed at leveraging the potential opportunities that would drive its future growth.
