CBSE class XII results for three regions

New Delhi, May 23: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared the class XII results for Delhi, Guwahati and Allahabad regions, examinations for which were held from March 1 to April 2. Results for the other three regions-- Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula-- were announced on May 21.

The Board is hosting the results on the net-- www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in-- since 0800 hrs. The results are also being accessed by sending SMS to 52001, 56735, 5431202, 51234 etc More than 5.48 lakh students appeared for the examination this year. The Board, this year, had introduced redesigned High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) question paper. Based on the National Curriculum Framework--2005, the new design included about 10 per cent of very short answer questions and about 20 per cent of questions to assess HOTS.

From the Delhi region, more than 1.60 lakh students appeared for the examination which is an increase of 2.6 per cent over last year.
