Rs 10.6 lakh sanctioned to Orissa, Raj organisations
New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) The Rural Development Ministry has sanctioned Rs 10.6 lakh to the National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD), Hyderabad for two organisations in Orissa and Rajasthan under a United Nations Development Project (UNDP).
While Rs 1.9 lakh has been given to Lokdrusti, an Orissa based organisation in Naupada district for the sub-programme Social Mobilisation Around Natural Resource Management, the Director for Centre for Community Economics and Development Consultants Society (CECOEDECON) in Jaipur will receive Rs 8.7 lakh, according to an official announcement.
The release of funds, will be subject to internal audit by the Ministry. The Project Implementing Authorities (PIAs) will submit a financial report at the end of each quarter indicating actual expenditure and submit Utilisation Certificate and the physical progress report by the end of 2008-09.
