Renewable sources to contribute 10% energy in Punjab by 2012
New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) Punjab, which produced over 300 million units of energy through new and renewable energy sourcess during 2005-07, plans to produce additional 916.59 million units by 2012 at an estimated cost of Rs 5156.32 core.
Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA)today said with it will be contributing ten per cent to total power generation in the state through renewable energy.
