No land allotted to grandson: Rosaiah
Hyderabad, May 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister K Rosaiah today denied the Opposition charge that his grandson had been favoured in allocation of a government land in a prime locality for setting up an industry.
Addressing a press conference here, he said, ''no government land has been allotted to my grandson as alleged by Telangana Rashtra Samiti General Secretary V Prakash. If he can prove it, he can take the land and distribute the same to poor people.'' He alleged that the TRS was resorting to mudslinging to gain political mileage in the byelections to four Lok Sabha and 18 Assembly seats, scheduled to be held on May 29.
Mr Prakash had alleged that 400 acres of government land at Mamillapalli village in Ranga Reddy district had been allotted to Mr Rosaiah's grandson.
