May 26 holiday in Punjab due to Panchayat polls
Chandigarh, May 22 (UNI) The Punjab Government has declared holiday on May 26 in all its offices, all offices within the state and in Chandigarh due to Gram Panchayat polls.
The offices of all Corporations or Boards and would also remain closed as would all educational institutions Disclosing this here today an official spokesman said that the holiday had been declared under section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act.
