FICCI, IIFA to hold Global Business Forum in Bangkok

Mumbai, May 22: Between the glam and the glitz of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend in the first week of June, trade opportunities between India and Thailand will be explored during the Global Business Forum 2008, organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) and IIFA.

Indian Ambassador to Thailand Latha Reddy and Harsh Pati Singhania, senior vice-president of FICCI, will address the Forum. They will discuss business opportunities through investments, trade, infrastructure, real estate, gems and jewellery among other things.

Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and climate change scientist Dr Rajendra K Pachauri will also be honoured with the IIFA Global Leadership Award at the event.
