CBI arrests ordnance factory official in bribery case

Hyderabad, May 22: The Anti-Corruption Branch of the CBI today arrested an ordnance factory official in Andhra Pradesh for accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 from a contractor.

A case was registered against J Mallesham, Assistant Foreman (Civil) in Ordnance Factory in Medak District, for accepting the bribe for clearing pending bills related to civil works.

The case was registered under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act by Hyderabad Branch of the CBI, a press release here said.
