Bajaj Holdings and Investment Q4 net at Rs 48.57 cr

New Delhi, May 22: Bajaj Holdings and Investment Ltd (BHIL) today said its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 2008 stood at Rs 48.57 crore. The company said in a statement that its total income for Q4FY08 was Rs 61.95 crore. Bajaj Holdings net profit and total income for the year ended March 2008 stood at Rs 307.02 crore and Rs 355.33 crore respectively.

The Group posted net profit for the quarter ended March, 2008 at Rs 79.32 crore and net sales and income from operations at Rs 62.63 crore. Its net profit and net sales and income for FY08 stood at Rs 525.69 crore and Rs 362.98 crore respectively. Bajaj Holdings has also recommended a dividend of Rs 20 per share subject to approval of shareholders.
