Avadoota Datta Peetham to organise cultural programme

Mysore, May 22 (UNI) The Avadhoota Datta Peetham of Sri Ganpathi Sachchidananda Ashrama will host a Cultural and religious festival here from May 25 to June 1.

Addressing newspersons here, Sri Ganpathi Sachchidananda Swamiji said the Ashram would conduct the 10th music festival on this occasion, in which musicians from all over the country would give performance. The performers would include Dr L Subramanian and Dr M Balamurali Krishna, an Australian Orchestra and Sruthi Laya Jazz programme.

He said visitors to the festival could also experience the unique active and passive therapies. While active therapy was singing, the passive therapy was listening to music.

Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil and former President A P J Abdul Kalam would participate in the valedictory function.
