Two soldiers feared killed as Ambulance plunges into Chenab in J
Jammu, May 21 (UNI) Two soldiers were feared drowned in Chenab as an Army Ambulance plunged into the river in Arnas area of hilly reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir today.
Four soldiers were reportedly travelling in an ambulance when it skidded off the road at Kanthan, about 20 km from reasi, and rolled down into the river, Senior Superintendent of police, Mr J L Sharma, told UNI.
''Two of them slipped out with injuries while the vehicle went untraceable in the river,'' Mr Sharma said.
Searches for the vehicle and the bodies of two soldiers were going, the SSP added.
