Three PLA militants nabbed by AR troops

Imphal, May 21: The troops of 23 and 34 Assam Rifles (AR) launched an operation at Wangjing in Thoubal district and apprehended three People's Liberation Army (PLA) cadres.

AR officials said here today that during the operation which lasted the whole day yesterday, the entire area was combed by the troops of the two units.

One nine mm pistol (country-made) with a magazine and six live rounds of nine mm were seized from the militants' possession.
