Rs 2.31 lakh fake notes seized, 3 held
Alwar, May 21 (UNI) Three youths were nabbed with fake currency worth Rs 2,31,700 in Naogaon town of this district this afternoon.
According to police sources, two of the accused hailed from Haryana while the third belonged to Bharatpur in Rajasthan. The trio were approaching Naongon Town on a two-wheeler when the police intercepted them.
The accused told the police that the consignment of the counterfeit notes, in denomination of 500 and 100, was sent to them from Uttarakhand for supply in Haryana.
