Airtel-Firstsource JV for BPO services

Mumbai, May 21: Private telecom operator, Bharti Airtel, has signed a three-year outsourcing agreement with global business processing outsource (BPO) service provider Firstsource.

Following the agreement, Firstsource will provide a host of BPO services covering both voice and back office in customer accounting, value added services, fraud and credit monitoring, customer service, collections, customer retention, the telecom major stated in a release here today.

Firstsource will set up two new centres at Vashi in New Mumbai and Chennai, which would provide services to the customers in English and eight other regional languages, the release added.
