2 SPOs killed by naxals
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, May 21 (UNI) Two Special Police Officers (SPOs) were strangulated to death by naxals in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.
Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Ajay Yadav said SPOs Jumman Salam and Ramuram Mourya were missing from CRPF camp in Dhaudai since yesterday night. Their bodies were found near Baragpal today.
In another incident, police and naxals exchanged fire near Dhanora area. Three naxals were reportedly killed, but their bodies could not be recovered, due to darkness.
