Rs 32.45 crore plan approved for Srinagar city
Srinagar, May 20 (UNI) An amount of Rs 32.45 crore annual plan has been approved for Srinagar district for the year 2008-09, an official spokesman said today.
He said the plan was approved by the District Development Board meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig.
The annual plan constitutes Rs 27.93 crore capital and Rs 54.52 crores revenue components.
Giving details about the sector wise share he said Agriculture will get Rs 20.4 crore, Rural Development Rs 7.7 crore, Industry Rs 2.4 crore and Communication Rs 5.40 crore. While Rs 40 lakhs have been allocated to power and Rs 23.60 crore to Social and general services.
The Deputy Chief Minister also announced an additionality of Rs 3.72 crores.
