Former MP Kacharubhau Raut passes away
Nashik, May 20 (UNI) Former MP from Malegaon, Kacharubhau Raut, died of heart attack at a private hospital here today.
He was 83.
He is survived by four sons, daughter and grand children.
An MLA of the Congress in 1962 and 1972, Kacharubhau later joined the BJP. He became a BJP MP in 1997. Known for his work for tribals, Raut was also an activist of the Dang Seva Mandal.
