Expert arrives to study sketches of blast suspects

Jaipur, May 20 (UNI) A police sketch expert from Kolkata has arrived here to study the sketches of seven suspects in the May 13 serial blasts and help redraw the same to facilitate identification of the offenders.

A Police spokesman said here, "We are not withdrawing the sketches of seven suspects released so far but we want to reproduce them in a refined manner".

Meanwhile, a team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has also arrived in Jaipur to help Special Investigation Team (SIT) and other central agencies involved in the investigation.

Teams of experts from Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh had also been assisting the investigation.

However, no breakthrough had so far been achieved.

A senior IAS Officer and member of the SIT said a number of persons were detained for interrogation. While majority of them had been released after interrogation several others were still being interrogated.

Five Bangladeshis who were picked up from Bagrana camp here under the statewide survey for identifying illegal immigrants and criminal elements among Bangladeshis, were arrested and sent under judicial custody.
