Jammu, May 20: The Poonch-Rawalakot road was thrown open last evening through which 162 people crossed the Line of Control at Chakkan-Da-Bagh in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here today said.

Sources said 162 people from both India and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir change their sides to meet their relatives.

''Out of 162, 73 crossed over to PoK in which 25 Indians visited the other side to meet their relatives while 48 were Pok citizens, who returned back to their homes,'' official sources said, adding 89 people from across the border came to India, which included 59 Pok residents, who came to this side to meet their relatives while 35 were Indian citizens, who returned back.

With an idea of strengthening Indo-Pak relations, the Poonch-Rawalakot road is being thrown open every fortnight for the divided families.
