Vineeta, Harsimran, Utkarsh have smooth advance
Chandigarh, May 19 (UNI) Giving a consistent display, Vineeta Singh of Delhi scored an impressive 4-1, 4-1 verdict against Naemat Aulakh in the girls Under-12 first-round match of the AITA Talent Series Tennis Tournament being played at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today.
In another first-round match, Harsimran Kaur of Haryana prevailed over Navraj Walia of Chandigarh 5-4 (3), 4-1.
A seventh class student of St Anne's School, qualifier Utkarsh Khosla of Chandigarh moved into second round of the boys Under-12 singles at the cost of Chinmay of Delhi in straight short sets 4-1, 4-1.
All seeded players had a smooth sailing into next rounds.
