Suspected Maoist ultras set ablaze four vehicles at Purulia
Purulia, May 18 (UNI) Suspected Maoist ultras set ablaze four heavy vehicles, used for construction work on Balarampur and Barabazar roads, at Haspur area of Duludi village in Balarampur, 58 km from Purulia town.
Purulia Superintendent of Police (SP) said here today that a group of 20 Maoist ultras burnt the vehicles and shouted slogans last night before fleeing towards Jharkhand border.
They also locked up ten employees of the road construction project in a nearby school.
Two of the ultras had been arrested so far, the SP added.
