Police staff to boycot counting if SP Amrut Pal was not retransfered

Bellary, May 18 (UNI) Bellary District Police staff have threatened to boycott poll counting on May 25 if Superintendent of Police, who was transferred recently, was not posted back immediately.

The staff members, led by Additional SP G A Trasgar, took out a procession to Deputy Commissioner's office and submitted a memorandum to this effect.

Mr Amrut Pal was transferred Chief Electoral Officer on the charges of derelation of duty during election and IGP (EASTERN RANGE) H S Satyanaraya Rao was given additional charge.
