NSF supports public protest rallies against interfactional clashes
Kohima, May 18 (UNI) The Naga Students Federation(NSF) has supported the Gaon Burahs and Dobhasis's call for a public protest rally on May 20 in all district headquarters of the state against the prevailing interfactional clashes.
In a release issued here today, NSF general secretary Hetoi Chishi called upon all the peace-loving Naga citizens to participate in the rally and demonstrate the aspirations of the people for peace and tranquility.
It also appealed to all the underground groups and factions to respect the sentiments and will of the people by ceasing the violence immediately.
The NSF further appealed to all the students in the entire state to attend the rally in uniform in their respective districts and also called upon all the business establishments to participate in the rally.
It also urged that all the private and government offices in the state should remain closed and participate in the rally in the interest of the Naga community.
The Gaon Burahs and Dobhasis Federation had called peace rallies in all the district headquarters of Nagaland to protest the violence and work for a peaceful atmosphere in the state.
