Srinagar, May 18 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police, Crime Branch (CB), has registered a case against a woman employee of Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (AACL) for producing a fake certificate.
Senior Superintendent of Police SS), CB, said a complaint was received from AACL employees that one Waheeda Akhter had been appointed as calligraphist-artist in the Academy after she produced a fake certificate.
He said a case has been registered under FIR number 22/2008 and investigation taken up.
The complaint alleged that in the year 2006, she got appointed in the Academy when she was not eligible for the post being over aged.
Fake certificate has been produced by her to cover up the age bar, it said.
