CM Karunanidhi hospitalised

Chennai, May 16: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi was admitted to a private hosital today due to back problem, an official release said here.

Mr Karunanidhi, 84, had been under the weather for the last couple of days and advised rest by the doctors, following which he was admitted to the C Ramachandra Medical College hospital at suburban Porur today. Finance Minister and DMK General Secretary K Anbazhagan advised the party workers not to meet the Chief Minister in person as he needed rest.
