Narrow escape for 7 tourists

Srinagar, May 16: Seven tourists from Mumbai had a narrow escape when their boat capsized during rafting in river Lidder in Pahalgam of south Kashmir.

A senior police officer Manzoor Ahmad told UNI over phone from Pahalgam that during rafting in river Lidder from Urgan to Yannar, the boat capsized.

However, the rescue teams immediately swung into action and saved all the seven tourists from Mumbai.

The tourists were later taken to Army hospital, where they were discharged after being given first-aid.
