Tripura: Fake notes worth Rs 3.23 lakh seized

Agartala, May 16: The BSF arrested a person from the Rangauti area along Tripura-Bangladesh border in the northern part of the state and seized fake Indian currency worth Rs 3.23 lakh from his possession.

Official sources said here today that the BSF arrested Md Suruk Ali yesterday and handed him over to the police. Earlier, BSF troops had detained Majloo Mian (22) and Md Noorul Islam (23) at the border on May 14 and seized fake Indian currency worth Rs 10,000 from their possession.
