6 kg IED, Chinese grenades recovered in Rajouri
Jammu, May 16 (UNI) Security forces today recovered an Improvise Explosive Device (IED) weighing six-kilograms, Chinese grenades along with arms and ammunition in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.
''Acting on a specific information, troops of Special Striking Reserve Force and NCA launched a joint search operation in Panglar forest area,'' the sources told UNI. They said during the search, one AK 56 Rifle, 30 rounds 7-62 mm, two AK magazines, three detonators, six-kg IED explosive, three IED sticks, four Chinese hand grenades, six pencil cells, one mobile charger and some medicines were recovered.
