Voltas net up by 11.9 pc at Rs 208.37 cr

New Delhi, May 15: Voltas Ltd today said it has registered 11.9 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 208.37 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 186.08 crore in the corresponding period last year. The total income for FY08 also surged 25.5 per cent to Rs 3,087.55 crore from Rs 2,458.60 crore last fiscal.

The Group's profit after minority interest and share of profit of associates for the year ended March 31, 2008 increased 3.02 per cent to Rs 207.68 crore as against Rs 201.58 crore last fiscal.

The Group's total income for FY08 surged 25.4 per cent to Rs 3,247.23 crore from Rs 2,588.69 crore last fiscal.
