Two women died, 6 injured in truck-auto collision

Sangli, May 15 (UNI) Two women died on the spot and six others injured when their auto collided with a truck near village Mandarwadi on Asta-Sangli road in this district today.

The truck was on its way to Sangli from Mumbai, while goods carrying auto was proceeding towards Kodolee-Warnanagar from Asta, when the mishap occurred, police said.

The women were identified as Rukminee Laxman Shingade (40) and Sanpada Datta Salagar (40), both from Sangliwadi.

The six injured were from autorickshaw and they were admitted to a private hospital, police added.
