Metso Minerals bags Rs 112 cr order from Essar Steel

New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) Leading supplier of equipment, service and process solutions for rock and minerals processing Metso Minerals today said it has received Rs 112 crore order from Essar Group subsidiary Global Supplies Ltd.

Under the contract, Metso will supply an iron ore induration machine to Global Supplies Ltd, a company statement said.

The machine will be delivered to Essar Steel Holdings Ltd for its Paradeep Pellet plant located in Orissa, it added.

The contract is scheduled to be completed during the second quarter of 2010.

The company had last year announced its expansion plans of increasing office space as well as enhancing manufacturing and foundry capacities in the country, with a combined investment of 12.5 million euros.

It is also investing approximately 30 million euros in India to set up a multi-functional industrial facility in Alwar, 'Metso Park'.
