IAL to organise protest meet in AP on May 18
Hyderabad, May 15 (UNI) The Indo-Arab League (IAL) will organise a protest meet here on May 18, to condemn the continued atrocities on Palestinians by Israel forces.
Talking to mediapersons today, IAL Chairman Syed Vicaruddin said many national and international leaders, including Union Ministers S Jaipal Reddy and Ram Vilas Paswan, CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan, CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Sitaram Yechury, Ambassador of Palestine Osama Musa and Arab League Mission Chief Ahmed Salem Saleh Al-Wahishi, would attend the meet.
The meeting would express solidarity with the Palestinians struggling to regain their occupied homeland, including the holy city of Jerusalem and the sacred Masjid-e-Aqsa.
Recalling historical and traditional ties between India and Palestine, he urged the Centre to pressurise the international community to end genocide and play a pivotal role in the peace process.
