Ahmedabad, May 15: Devanshi Indravadan Shah of C N Vidhyalaya, Ahmedabad with 96.20 per cent marks, has topped in the 12th Science examination of the Gujarat Education Board.
Announcing the results of the 12th Science today, Education Minister Ramanlal Vora said this year the result has been 75.85 per cent,about eight per cent lower than the previous year.
This year, in all 80,169 students appeared for the examination of whom 60,808 have passed. There are a total of 33 schools which achieved 100 per cent results.
Two students -- Vaddoriya Chandresh Dulabhai of P P Savani Vidya Bhavan, Surat, and Shethia Rahul Hemendrabhai of Bright Day School, Vadodara, stood second with 95.6 per cent marks while third place went to Sondarva Dhara Dhanjibhai of Shree G K Dholaiya High School, Rajkot,with 95.2 per cent.
