60 people hospitalised after consuming food from hotel

Tirumala, May 15 (UNI) A 60-member marriage party, including women and children, were hospitalised, ten of them in a serious condition, after they consumed food from a restaurant here today.

Police said the marriage party, from Rajampet in Kadapa district, vomitted two hours after taking food from the hotel at the hill-top.

All of them were shifted to a private and government RUIA hospital in Tirupati.

Food samples were collected from the hotel for clinical test, police added.
