Gujarat: 2 saree shops gutted in fire

Surat, May 15: Two saree shops were gutted in a major fire which broke out in the new Textiles Market this morning here.

According to initial reports, the fire broke out due to an electric short circuit.

Two shops, located on the sixth floor of a shopping complex, were gutted in the fire. Stocks of sarees worth lakhs of rupees have been destroyed in the fire.
