One kiled, 5 hurt as tree falls on 'jhuggis' in Delhi

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) An aged person was killed and five others were wounded when a tree fell on their 'jhuggis' following a thunderstorm in the national capital today.

Officials said 70-year-old Punnaswamy was killed and five others were wounded when the tree fell on their 'jhuggis' at Madrasi Basti in Mori Gate area of Delhi's North district.

Seven 'jhuggis' were also damaged in the thunderstorm, they added.
