Ignore the humidity, thunder squalls may vist Delhi again
New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) Delhi woke up to a pleasant morning with wind storms and rains lashing the city landscape today.
Though the early morning rains were shortlived, it left scores of trees uprooted in several parts of the capital. Subsequent traffic jams left several communters stranded for hours in various parts of the city.
The humidity was recorded at 91 per cent. The day temprtature is likely to rise and expected to be around 39 degrees Celsius.
The Met office said thunder squalls may hit parts of Haryana, Punjab, North Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours.
While minimum temprtature this morning was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius, the Weather department recorded 6.2 mm of rain.
