Dhumal takes Congress to task on kin contesting elections
Una, May 14 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minster Prem Kumar Dhumal today took the Congress party by its horns on the latter's allegations that the BJP was propagating family interests in politics.
He asserted that it was a fact that Mr Anurag was his son, but stressed that he had made a niche for himself in cricket and was popular amongst the young people.
Citing examples within the Congress party, he said leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Virbhadra Singh, Sat Mahajan, Kaul Singh, Chander Kumar and Viplove Thakur had promoted their kin in politics.
