Cong MP advocates-toll-free no. to check hoarding
Hyderabad, May 14 (UNI) Senior Congress Leader and Parliamentarian Undavilli Arun Kumar today urged Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to introduce a toll-free number to enable the people to provide information on black marketers and hoarders of essential commodities.
In his address at the party's rededication day celebrations here today, he said this was essential to control the blackmarketing and hoarding of essential commodities.
He said the government should keep confidential, the identity of the people, who provide information and announce an incentive for the people providing information about black marketers and hoarders.
He expressed the hope that the state government would take necessary steps to control the prices of essential commodities.
Hitting at opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu for making ''unimaginable'' promises during Meekosam +Chaitanya Yatra+, he alleged the TDP President was making promises only to mislead the people and contrary to the book 'Manasulomata'' (Plain Speaking) written by him.
