Chief Minister announceS assiastance of Rs one lakh

Bhubaneswar, May 14 (UNI) Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced a compensation of Rs one lakh to the family members of Sanichar Topo, who was killed along with his daughter yesterday after being pushed off a running bus.

Topo and his daughter of Kinjarikela area were pushed off a running bus near Jharsuguda by the conductor of a private bus after he paid Rs five against Rs seven demanded by the conductor towards the bus fare.

Expressing his concern over the tragic incident, the Chief Minister announced the compensation from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
